Vanishing act..

Oh my......I am doing it again.... the vanishing act I mean!

I've been away too long and have not been putting my thinking brain to good use lately. The computer has been invaded by viruses and is now waiting to be repaired in the workshop. It has been more than four days and I feel like my world has crumbled for not being able to check my emails and surf the net.

I am now using the internet service at a cyber cafe, which is my first visit here. Hopefully the pc will be repaired soon and I can update my blog.

It's the second semester school holidays but holidays are not meant for me. I've not been crafting any jewelries either for the past 2 weeks or so, and hopefully I'll get the creative juice flowing again in no time.

In the meantime, thank you for being patient and understanding.

Have a nice week ahead everyone!

Basic Wire Work Jewelry Class

Hi everyone....I started my first Basic Wire Work Jewelry Class last Saturday with one student, Agnes from Seremban. Agnes initially emailed me and asked whether I conduct any wire work jewelry class. I told her that I have not attended any workshops/classes myself, therefore I have no experience in teaching. So, after numerous emails after that, I found myself conducting a class on a one-to-one basis with her.

Agnes dabbles in arts & crafts herself and wanted to learn to play with wires. She brought her own basic tools as well the materials needed for this class. She is very enthusiastic, eager to learn and a fast learner.

This is Agnes' pretties, a completed pair of earrings, a short wire wrapped & coiled bracelet and two pendants. Hopefully, this will help her to embark on her journey to wire work crafting.

Thank you, Agnes for giving me the confidence to start this class.

Handmade Wire Wrapped Earrings - Phalaenopsis Orchid Series

Here is a pair of post earrings that I've just completed yesterday and photographed just now, so I thought I might as well update my blog since am free today being a Sunday.

Well... it doesn't resemble an orchid (Phalaenopsis) but I've just got to give a name to it (I am not good at giving names for my pretties). I've crafted so many earrings that I sometimes forget which is which.

Phalaenopsis Orchid Series - Post Earrings (Style 1)

Material - Natural Copper Artistic Wire, Aventurine 8mm Round beads
surrounded by matching Swarovski bicones.

Measurement: 1" (2.5cm) in diameter

If you're interested to have a pair done, please do not hesitate
to inquire via email.

Thanks for looking,
have a wonderful Sunday, and
Happy Mother's Day to all Mothers in the World!
